Samsung has begun testing One UI 9 on 49 different Galaxy models, ranging from budget smartphones to tablets.

The upcoming interface, based on Android 17, is reportedly part of an accelerated development effort by Samsung.

Number of Galaxy devices on Samsung's One UI 9 test list.

The test list includes the Galaxy S23–S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 7–5 series, Galaxy A57, Galaxy A56, and Galaxy A54, according to reports.

Samsung's public One UI 9.0 beta program is currently limited to the flagship Galaxy S26 series.

Recent leaks suggest the One UI 9 beta program may soon be opened to the Galaxy S25 series.

A device appearing on Samsung's One UI 9 test list does not necessarily mean it will receive the update earlier, but any device on the list will receive the One UI 9.0 update sooner or later.

Samsung aims to detect possible bugs and speed up the update process by testing new versions before stable rollout.

Samsung is reportedly expected to expand One UI 9 testing to more Galaxy models in the coming weeks.
