The Samsung Galaxy S27 series is expected to be released in early 2027. The upcoming lineup is reported to consist of four models: the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Plus, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra.

According to ETNews, the Galaxy S27 Ultra will feature a 200MP wide-angle camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Reports indicate the Ultra model will not include a 3x telephoto camera, and Ice Universe denied claims that the device would feature a second rear telephoto camera.
The Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to feature a 200MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, similar to the Ultra model. ETNews reports that the Pro model will also include a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27 Plus models will feature a 50MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Additionally, the Galaxy S27 Ultra, Galaxy S27 Pro, and other models in the series will carry a 16MP selfie camera.
Production and supply chain details
Samsung's decision to reduce the number of cameras is reportedly related to production efficiency and reducing Bill of Materials (BoM) costs rather than technological limitations.
The rear camera modules for the Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra are expected to be supplied by Samsung Electronics, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Namuga, Partron, Power Logics, and the Chinese company Sunny Optical.
