SpaceXAI has introduced Grok Bot, an AI agent service designed to function as an AI teammate capable of performing real work. The system is currently in an early beta stage.
Grok Bot operates within its own cloud-based computer environment. These bots can sign in to a user's existing tools, applications, and websites to complete tasks. SpaceXAI stated that the bots only return to the user once assigned work is finished or when approval is required.
The service allows multiple bots to run in parallel, with one bot acting as a manager for other specialized bots. The bots can remember previous conversations, learn user preferences, and increase proficiency over time.
Platform availability and access
Grok Bot is available on iOS and desktop platforms including macOS, Windows, and Linux, while an Android version is under development. Access is limited to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers.
SpaceXAI developed the service using an internal prototype previously used for marketing, sales outreach, office operations, and bug fixes. Grok Bot is positioned as a competitor to OpenAI's ChatGPT Work, Anthropic's Claude Cowork, and Microsoft's Copilot Tasks.
Grok 4.6 model release
SpaceXAI says that Grok 4.6, which it identifies as its most powerful AI model to date, can analyze code structures that it did not encounter during its training process.
SpaceXAI says Grok 4.6 is designed for large visual projects, coding, information-based tasks, and long-running agents. SpaceXAI says it reportedly shows performance levels similar to GPT-5.6 Sol and Claude Fable 5 in certain tests and serves as a significant improvement over Grok 4.5 in almost all areas.
SpaceXAI says the model is available through the SpaceXAI API, Cursor, Grok Build, Vercel, OpenRouter, and Cloudflare.
SpaceXAI says usage increase inside Cursor and Grok Build for the first week of Grok 4.6.
