T-Mobile is launching a new financing option called Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) Flex 36. The plan allows customers to finance a device along with taxes and fees over a 36-month period.

The EIP Flex 36 plan is available to well-qualified buyers starting August 6. For those who meet the qualifications, the plan requires no upfront payment and offers a 0 percent APR for a limited time.

This new option extends the duration of T-Mobile's standard 0 percent financing plan, which was previously only available for 24 months. The EIP Flex 36 financing can be used for phones, watches, and tablets, and it can be combined with existing T-Mobile device promotions.

T-Mobile stated that financing this average $120 out-of-pocket cost brings the monthly cost to $3 per month.

New Student Plans

In addition to the new financing option, T-Mobile is introducing Student Perks plans. These plans start at $30 per line per month when autopay is enabled.
