The English FA issued Mykhailo Mudryk a four-year ban.
In April 2026, the English Football Association (FA) issued a four-year ban to Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk. The suspension, which was set to run until 2028, was issued after Mudryk returned an adverse analytical finding for the banned substance meldonium.
It was noted by the FA that had the sample been collected under current WADA technical documents, the concentration of meldonium would not have been reported and no anti-doping rule violations would have resulted. Mudryk maintained that he never knowingly or intentionally took any banned substance.
