A large-scale Russian strike on Ukraine occurred one day prior to the current attack.
Two days prior to the most recent reported escalation, a large-scale Russian strike targeted Kyiv. The attack involved ballistic missiles and resulted in at least nine deaths and over 20 injuries among residents of the capital.
During this assault, the Lithuanian Embassy in Kyiv sustained damage to its solar panels and windows. While no staff members were injured during the strike, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister condemned the act as part of a continuous campaign of terror against Ukraine.
