Francesco Bagnaia failed to score points at the British Grand Prix. The Ducati rider returned to MotoGP action just weeks after surgery on his right forearm.

Bagnaia started the British Grand Prix in 16th position. He struggled with his Ducati GP26 at Silverstone throughout the event.
During the closing stages of the Silverstone, Bagnaia experienced extreme tyre degradation. He stated that looking at the data makes it very difficult to see a cause for his crash.

Bagnaia said he struggled to be close to the top 10 all weekend. He confirmed he changed the setup and electronic side of the bike during the weekend.
Despite these adjustments, Bagnaia noted that other Ducati riders have a lot of grip. He stated that he changed everything on the bike but no one knows what happened.
