Market shipment shares and pricing trends
Samsung maintained market leadership with a 23% shipment share. The company reported a 9% increase in both revenues and shipments, while its average selling price remained stable at $270.
Apple's smartphone shipment share increased from 17% to 21% during the quarter, with shipments rising by 13%. The average iPhone selling price rose from $879 to $946.
The average selling price for all smartphones increased by 17% to $400 during the second quarter of 2026. Price increases in Android devices were attributed to a memory crisis.
Performance of other manufacturers
Samsung's revenue share stood at 16%, ranking second after Apple.
Xiaomi reported a 26% decline in shipments and a 17% decline in revenues, although its average selling price increased by 13%.
Other manufacturers also saw revenue declines, with OPPO's revenue decreasing by 10% and vivo's revenue decreasing by 11%.
