Bank of Canada publishes 2027 schedule for rate decisions, reports

The central bank confirmed rate announcement dates for next year, with quarterly Monetary Policy Reports to be released alongside four of them.

The Bank of Canada has published its 2027 schedule for policy interest rate announcements and other major publications, providing market participants with key dates for the coming year. The central bank also reconfirmed the remaining rate announcement dates for this year.

All interest rate announcements in 2027 will take place at 09:45 (ET). The quarterly Monetary Policy Report (MPR) will be published concurrently with the January, April, July and October rate announcements.

The Bank of Canada also released the 2027 schedule for the release of the quarterly Monetary Policy Report, the Business Outlook Survey and the Canadian Survey of Consumer Expectations. All survey releases will take place at 11:30 (ET).

The scheduled date for the release of the Financial Stability Report is Tuesday, May 18, at 10:00 (ET).

The central bank reconfirmed the scheduled interest rate announcement dates for the remainder of this year, ensuring continuity for financial markets.
