Boot Barn Holdings, Inc., a footwear company based in Irvine, California, has published its earnings call presentation for the first quarter of fiscal 2027.

The company reported net sales of $593.5 million for the quarter, a 17.7% increase from the $504.1 million recorded during the same period last year.

The results exceeded the company's previous guidance, which had projected net sales between $574 million and $584 million. This performance also surpassed analyst expectations reported by Yahoo Finance, which had called for quarterly earnings between $578.4 million and $587.3 million.

Boot Barn attributed the sales growth to an increase in consolidated same-store sales and incremental sales from new locations. As of June 27, the company's total store count reached 566 following the opening of 27 new stores during the first quarter.

During the quarter, the company also recognized $14.7 million in tariff refunds within the cost of goods sold.

Updated Financial Guidance

Boot Barn has raised its full-year fiscal 2027 sales guidance to a range between $2.580 billion and $2.625 billion. This updated outlook replaces a previous projection of sales between $2.578 billion and $2.623 billion.

The company also increased its full-year net income guidance to a range of $267.9 million to $281.0 million, up from the previous outlook of $251.1 million to $264.5 million.

For the second quarter of fiscal 2027, the retailer expects total sales between $572 million and $582 million, representing a projected growth of 13% to 15% over the previous year.
