The Coca-Cola Co. announced that Fairlife has resumed the majority of its production across four factories in the United States.
The company stated that retail availability for Fairlife products remains largely unaffected due to existing inventory levels.
Product quality and safety have not been impacted.
These developments follow an announcement on July 16, when The Coca-Cola Co. identified "unauthorised access" to a section of its network involving production-linked systems by a third party.
The Anubis ransomware group claimed responsibility for the cyberattack on Fairlife and threatened to release stolen data, claiming to have stolen one terabyte of information.
Anubis posted a statement on its data leak site claiming they attacked systems a week ago and were met with immediate reporting by the company. The group also claimed to have encrypted Nutanix systems, stating the company had no way of recovering without an encryption key.
The Coca-Cola Co. is working diligently to restore impacted systems and operations following the breach.
The company stated that it does not believe the incident has had, or is likely to have, a material impact on its financial condition or results of operations.
The Coca-Cola Co. is scheduled to publish its second-quarter financial results tomorrow.
