Taiwan's Foxconn reported a 35% rise in second-quarter profit, surpassing previous forecasts. The company, which is the world's largest contract electronics maker, announced the results on Wednesday.
The company reported a second-quarter net income of approximately 1.61 billion euros. This increase in profit was driven by rapidly growing demand for high-performance computers for AI data centers.
Rise in Taiwan's Foxconn second-quarter profit
Server manufacturing has replaced Apple's iPhone production as Foxconn's most important business segment. The company is currently targeting a 40% global market share in AI servers.
Revenue Outlook
Foxconn reaffirmed its target of strong revenue growth in the current year. The company also forecasts strong growth in 2026 amid an AI boom. While Foxconn traditionally does not provide specific figures in its outlook, shares of the Frankfurt-listed company rose nearly 3 percent following the earnings announcement.
