German consumer goods group Henkel has upgraded its sales outlook following an increase in organic sales and profit during the first half of the year. The company's H1 earnings and organic growth exceeded estimates.
Henkel now expects organic sales growth for the current year to reach between 1.5 and 3.5 percent. This updates a previous guidance range of between 1 and 3 percent.

The company also expects its adjusted EBIT margin to fall within a range of 14.5 to 16 percent. For comparison, the adjusted EBIT margin was 14.8 percent in the previous year.
