Meta Platforms reported Q2 2026 revenue of $60.8 billion, a 28% increase year-over-year, but net profit fell 14% to $15.85 billion. Earnings per share totaled $6.18, down from $7.14 in the same quarter last year.

Meta expects full-year 2026 total expenses between $165 billion and $169 billion, and has revised its capital expenditure forecast upward to a range of $130 billion to $145 billion, previously $125–145 billion.

For the third quarter of 2026, Meta guided revenue in the range of $61 billion to $64 billion.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said AI accelerates core business processes, powers next-generation products, and opens new enterprise opportunities.

Microsoft's Q4

Microsoft's fiscal fourth quarter (ending June 30, 2026) saw revenue rise 18% year-over-year to $90 billion, while net profit jumped 31% to $35.8 billion. Earnings per share increased from $3.65 to $4.81.

Azure and other cloud services revenue grew 43% in the quarter. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said Azure revenues exceeded $100 billion for the first time this year. He also noted that Microsoft 365 Copilot has over 30 million paid users, reflecting customer confidence in implementing AI transformations.
