The CDC reports that laboratory-confirmed cyclosporiasis cases in the US have exceeded 10,400, with an additional 12,255 suspected cases emerging in what authorities describe as the largest outbreak recorded to date. Amidst these rising numbers, Taco Bell has stopped using iceberg lettuce from producer Taylor Farms, while Chipotle has removed jalapeno peppers from some menus due to a possible salmonella link. Additionally, the UK Health Security Agency has noted an increase in cases among tourists returning from Mexico.
