Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced data regarding Turkey's foreign trade performance for July. According to the trade ministry's data, July exports rose by 2.9% year-on-year to $25.6 billion, marking the highest July figure ever recorded and the second-highest monthly export figure of all time.

The trade ministry's data also indicated that imports for July rose by 5.2% year-on-year to $33 billion. For the first seven months of the year, the data showed exports rose by 3.4% year-on-year to $161.6 billion, while imports increased by 4.7% to $222.1 billion.
According to the trade ministry's data, annualized exports reached $278.6 billion and annualized imports reached $375.3 billion. Additionally, annualized goods and services exports reached $401.1 billion as of July.
Regarding the 2026 Medium-Term Program (OVP), the trade ministry's data showed that 57.3% of the export target had been realized as of the end of July. The data further calculated that an additional export increase of $3.4 billion is required in the remaining period to reach the year-end target.
