In the first seven months of 2026, 28 companies completed initial public offerings on Turkey's Borsa Istanbul stock exchange, according to data compiled by Matriks Haber from Turkey's Capital Markets Board (SPK), Turkey's Central Registry Agency (MKK), and Borsa Istanbul.

The IPOs raised approximately 63 billion Turkish liras in total. The pace picked up sharply in July, which saw 12 listings, making it the most intense month of the year with 38.4 billion TL raised.

July’s 12 offerings accounted for about 43% of the number and 61% of the value of all IPOs in the first seven months of 2026. The quarterly breakdown shows 14 companies went public in the first quarter, 2 in the second, and 12 in July.

The wave of listings lifted the total number of companies on Borsa Istanbul from 591 at the start of 2026 to 618 as of July 31, 2026.

Performance among the new listings varied. As of July 31 closing prices, 22 of the 28 first-seven-month IPO stocks traded above their first trading price, 1 was unchanged, and 5 traded below.

The top three percentage gains among the first-seven-month IPOs relative to their first trading prices were 233.37%, 224.02%, and 159.51%. According to the compiled data, the strongest performer was Savur GYO (SVGYO), up 233.37%. Z GYO (ZGYO) rose 224.02% and Netcad Yazılım (NETCD) rose 159.51%, ranking second and third.

According to the compiled data, among IPOs that began trading in July, İsvea Seramik (ISVEA) rose 107.75%, Beta Enerji ve Teknoloji (BETAE) rose 76.59%, Orzaks İlaç (ORZAX) rose 37.02%, and Golda Gıda (GOLDA) rose 33.40%.

According to SPK data, the largest IPOs in the first seven months of 2026 were ŞA-RA Enerji (SARAE) with 6.23 billion TL, Ekim Turizm (EKIM) with 4.90 billion TL, Kardemir Çelik (KARCL) with 4.48 billion TL, Masfen Enerji (MASFN) with 3.88 billion TL, and Saat ve Saat (SSAAT) with 3.75 billion TL.

Total investor participation in the first-seven-month IPOs was recorded at 22.11 million, according to the compiled data.

According to MKK data as of August 1, 2026, total market capitalization reached 36.40 trillion TL, the equity market size reached 22.17 trillion TL, and the number of stock investors reached 6,906,417.

With 28 IPOs in the first seven months, 2026 has already surpassed the full-year IPO counts of 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2025, according to the compiled data. Since 1990, the data shows the highest annual IPO count on Borsa Istanbul was 56 companies in 2023, and the lowest was 1 company in 2001.
