The US Dollar reached a historic peak of 47.54 Turkish Lira in Turkey.

The British Pound (GBP) reached a record high of 64.09 Turkish Lira, surpassing the 64 Turkish Lira psychological barrier.

In the early hours of the day, the Euro reached a level of 54.96 Turkish Lira before trading around 54.86 Turkish Lira.


On the first trading day of the week, the US Dollar Index (DXY) fell to 99.726 points.

The US Department of the Treasury and the Bank of Japan conducted a joint intervention in the foreign exchange market by selling dollars and buying yen to stabilize the Japanese yen and curb the dollar.
